Introduction of Cr15Ni60 Nichrome/Nichrome wire 60 (NiCr60, 675 nickel chrome alloy):

Commonly used as resistance heater for cutting foam (styrofoam, polyurethane) fabric and various of other materials
As electric heating wire, it is an accepted material for heating devices operating up to 1,000°C (1,850ºF)
This encompasses most pluggable power cord domestic heating appliances and those heating units of medium temperatures which do not require unsurpassed quality of NI/CR-80/20, 80-20 alloy
