Main types of O ring

1. Viton O ring

Material: Viton/ FKM / FPM

Hardness: 80~90A

Temperature: -20~+260°C

Medium: water, oil, dust, air.

Features: Viton/FKM o ring shows excellent heat resisitance and chemical resisitance, low compression set,  and excellent aging characteristics.

Applications: Viton o rings are widely used in environments that require high precision, high temperature  resistance, high wear resistance, Such as automotive, electronic, aerospace, Marine, It's not generally  recommended for exposure to hot water, steam, polar solvents, low molecular weight esters and ethers,  glycol based brake fluids, or hot hydrofluoric.

2. NBR/Nitrile O Ring

Material: NBR/ Buna-N/ Nitrile

Hardness:30~90A

Temperature: -30~+110°C

Medium: water, oil, dust, air.

Features: NBR/Nitrile o ring shows excellent compression set, tear,and abrasion resistance.

Applications: NBR/Nitrile O ring are widely used in cylindrical surface static sealing,flat face, static sealing,   vacuum flange sealing, triangle groove application, pneumatic dynamic sealing ,etc.

3. Silicone O Ring

Material:Silicone/ VMQ / PVMQ

Hardness: 80~90A

Temperature: -60~+200°C

Medium: water, oil, dust, air.

Features: Silicone/VMQ/PVMQ o rings provide excellent resistance to ozone, oxygen, and moisture. Low  physical strength and abrasion resistance combined with high friction properties limit silicone to static seal  applications.

Applications: Silicone o ring are widely used in foodstuff and cryogenic engineering.
