Description

Traditionally, thicker silicate tiles were wrapped in shipping pipe, twice as thick as Silica Aerogel Insulation Felt. The traditional material is a tile-like solid, very bulky, the junction of the link is not close, usually replaced every five years. Aerogel Insulation Felt are more durable and superior in thermal insulation.
Aerogel Blanket is ideal for use in the fabrication of removable insulation pads. It maintains its shape and location even after vibration or exposure to high temperatures. As with all aerogel products, Aerogel Blankets is hydrophobic and breathable, resisting liquid water and avoiding the damaging effects of wet insulation. These unique characteristics combine to minimize heat loss and provide the ultimate protection for process units and high pressure steam pipes.
