Introduction:

Sand dredging pumps are full flow, middle to high pressure, single volute heavy duty slurry pumps specialized in sand and gravel, sand and aggregation, and pit and quarries. The material of pump main parts is high chrome alloy A05, which is highly abrasive resistant. 

White iron gravel pumps produced by SME are mainly used for sand and gravel, like big rocks and stones. SG is the standard gravel pump, and the liners and impellers are only made in high chrome alloy, which makes the pumps very resistant to abrasion and erosion. These gravel pumps are used as dredging pumps as well, which are used on dredgers to pump sand from the river, pond, lake, ocean etc.

Type SG are single casing heavy duty metal gravel pumps designed for higher head duties such as cyclone feed, long distance pipelines and high static discharge heads. SME SG Series pumps are designed to handle very large particles for gravel and dredging operations. Capable of handling large particles at consistently high efficiencies results in low cost of ownership. The large volume internal profile of the casing reduces associated velocities further increasing component life.
