The rolling method of cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel tube is more complex than that of hot rolled (extruded) seamless steel tube. The first three steps of their production process are basically the same. The difference starts from the fourth step, after the round pipe blank is hollowed, it should be headed and annealed. After annealing, a special acid solution is used for pickling. After pickling, apply oil. This is followed by a series of secondary cold drawn (cold rolled) billet tubes, which are specially heat-treated. After heat treatment, they are straightened. After straightening, the steel pipe is sent by conveyor belt to the metal flaw detector (or hydraulic test) for internal flaw detection. If there are cracks or bubbles in the steel pipe, they will be detected. After the steel pipe quality inspection also through the strict manual selection.
