HNBR is a synthetic polymer derived from nitrile rubber by hydrogenating the compound. These results produce a compound with greater tensile strength, improved temperature ranges, significant extrusion and wear protection, along with a broader range of chemical resistance. HNBR rubber o-ring seals are also known as Highly Saturated Nitrile (HSN) o-rings. Beike Sealing offers a complete selection of both the standard AS568 o-ring and metric o-ring sizes. Applications
NBR o-rings have excellent resistance to abrasion, non-polar oils and solvent, water and permeation (higher acrylonitrile content will be better). NBR also can be used in conditions of dilute acids, alkalis and salt solution at low temperatures. Applications in aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons and polar solvents are not suitable.
