The hot plate description

The primary function of the hot plate is to activate the adhesive, typically a starch-based glue, that has been applied to the linerboards. The heat softens the adhesive, making it tacky and allowing it to bond securely with the corrugated medium. Additionally, the heat helps evaporate any moisture present in the board, ensuring optimal bonding and enhancing the dimensional stability of the final product.
