The function of the exhaust valve is to discharge and dissipate the burning gas,So the working environment of the exhaust valve is much worse than that of the inlet valve,Normally the Intake engine valve will choose material:4Cr9Si2Mo,the exhaust engine valve will choose better material to against the bad environment ,such as 21-4N,23-8N,For some supertech car like racing car the material will be more selective such as inconel 751,Titanium,only those kinds of material can achieve it's high speed and high temperature.
