Long-acting oxytetracycline injection is intended for use in the treatment of the following diseases in sheep, cattle, nonlactating dairy cattle,sheep and swine when due to oxytetacycline-susceptible organisms:
Sheep,cattle: Oxytetracycline injectable for veterinary is indicated in the treatment of pneumonia and shipping fever complex associated with pasteureela spp. And Hemophilus spp; infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis(pinkeye) caused by Moraxella bovis;foot-rot and diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophourm;bacterial(scours) caused by Escherichia coli;wooden tongue caused by Actinobbacillus ligniersii;leptospirosis caused by Leptospira pomona;and wound infections and acute metritis caused by strain of staphylococci and streptococci organisms sensitive to animal use oxytetracycline drug. abamectin, ivermectin ,closantel sodium, albendazole, mebendazole
Precautions and
warnings:
Dose accurately to prevent development of resistance caused by under
dosing.
Avoid using alongside other medications. Do not use in Collies or Collie cross
breeds !
times:
Meat: 21 days (cattle and sheep)
28 days (pigs).
Do not use in cows producing milk for
human consumption.
Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows within 28 days prior to calving.
Storage
conditions:
Store dark and below 25°C. Do not freeze.
