Tylosin Tartrate Injection 5% for cattle
Indications:
Tylosin Tartrate Injection 5% could treats shipping
fever, pneumonia, foot rot, calf diphtheria, metritis in beef cattle and
non-lactating dairy cattle. Treats mycoplasmal swine arthritis, pasteurella
pneumonia, erysipelas, acute swine dysentery in swine.
Pharmacology:
Tylosin injection is thought to have the same mechanism of action as
ery¬thromycin (binds to 50S ribosome and inhibits protein synthesis) and
exhibits a similar spectrum of activity. Our high quality tylosin tartrate for animal
is a bacteriostatic antibiotic. For more specific information on or¬ganisms that tylosin is usually active against, refer to the erythromycin monograph just prior to this one. Cross resistance with erythromycin occurs.

Precautions and
warnings:
Dose accurately to prevent development of resistance caused by under
dosing.
Avoid using alongside other medications. Do not use in Collies or Collie cross
breeds !
