Low Ti High Carbon Ferro Chromium 

Ferrochromium is the alloy of chromium and iron and is hard and brittle. According to the carbon content, it is divided high carbon ferrochromium (4.0%-9.0%), medium carbon ferrochromium(1.0% -4.0%), low carbon ferrochromium ( 0.2%-1%) and micro carbon ferrochromium(carbon less than0.15%). 

The Low silicon HiC FeCr is a special Hi Carbon Ferrochorium which have the advantage of low Ti (Ti<0.03%).

As the main alloy additive, high carbon ferrochrome contains a small amount of titanium element, which can harden the inclusion of oxide, easily cause "rolling defects" in the interior and surface of bearing steel, and affect the product quality of bearing steel, so low titanium and high carbon ferrochrome came into being.

Low titanium and high carbon ferrochrome has been widely used in the smelting of bearing steel.In the use process, the beneficial element chromium of low titanium and high carbon ferrochrome can not only be fully utilized, but the impurity element titanium content is very low, which can reduce the content of titanium oxide inclusion in bearing steel, improve the yield of bearing steel, thus reducing the cost of producing special steel for special steel enterprises.
