Pharmacological Actions |
Colistin is a polypeptide antibiotic,which has a strong antibacterial effect against aerobic bacteria, E. coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Pasteurella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella, Shigella bacteria and other Gram-negative bacteria.Colistin sensitive bacteria has little resistance. Proteus and most marcescens colistin are not affected. Gram-positive bacteria are usually non-sensitive.

This product is a new broad-spectrum antimicrobial medicine with special effect. It has a strong antibacterial effect against most Gram-negative bacteria, such as E. coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus. Indications: red, yellow, white diarrhea of the sick chicken, bloody diarrhea, carrots-shape stools feed-shape stools (feces with undigested feed) and manure separation and other symptoms caused by necrotizing enterocolitis, intractable diarrhea, intestinal toxicity syndrome.
