Glass Fused To Steel Storage Tanks

The glass fused to steel tank is made of special steel plate, special sealant and self-locking bolt with a service life of more than 30 years. After pretreatment, two or three layers of enamel coating are applied to both sides of the special steel plate. After thermal polymerization, a strong bond was formed between the coating and the steel plate. The protective layer formed by the coating can not only prevent the corrosion of the tank, but also have strong functions of acid resistance, alkali resistance and abrasion resistance.

Glass-Fused-to-Steel Tanks Specifications

We use special steel plate as enamel steel plate, which is twice as strong as ordinary steel plate, and the thickness of common steel plate is between 3mm and 12mm.Spray glazes and surface glazes on both sides of the steel plate. After the heat treatment at 850-940℃, a 0.3mm thick enamel coating will be formed on the surface of the steel plate, which can not only prevent the corrosion of the steel plate, but also have the function of strong acid and strong alkali. Self-locking bolts are easy to install and do not require large mounting equipment and/or highly skilled workers.
